My First Website!

 

• I used a template to create the home page.
• I added images and text explaining what the site was about.
• I chose to do my website on Heroes.
• I created a table down the left hand side of the page with a list of contents. These contents later became links to pages after i created more pages.
• I added more information, and saved the page.
• I created a new page with a different template this time for season one.
• I made the top banner and side contents list the same as the home page.
• I added text about season one along with a couple of pictures, and a youtube video trailer of season one.
• I also added the link to home page.
• I opened the home page and added a link to the season one page.
• I created a new page for the season two spoilers.
• I made the same banner at the top and side containing the contents of the site.
• I added info, along with a spoiler episode guide, and pictures.
• To create a cast and characters page i used another template.
• I added individual pictures of the cast, putting families together, with their names underneath each picture.
• I then created a page for each family or individual, including a picture of the character, character bio, and actor bio.
• I went back to the cast and characters page and linked each picture to each page, using named anchors, to direct the reader straight to the relevant character on the family pages.
• For the gallery, i used a step by step guide at http://www.adobe.com/support/dreamweaver/interactivity/slideshow/
  which helped me to create a slide show of pictures.
• For the contact and links page, i used a step by step guide at
  http://dreamweaverspot.com/adobe-dreamweaver-tutorial-contact-forms/
  which helped me insert a contact form on my page.
• Then beneath the contact form i added external links to the main Wikipedia Heroes page, the main NBC Heroes home page and the official BBC Heroes Home page.
• I went through every page ensuring all my links worked, and my wesite was complete!!!!!
